Hard Tied - Bound For Sensuality

Hardtied bills itself as offering "authentic sensual bondage... Conceived as an introductory website for those new to the subject, or for those who appreciate bondage of a more sensual nature."  But make no mistake- Hard Tied provides some pretty hardcore bondage content. Created by legendary rope tying guru PD (the original creator of the famous INSEX BDSM site), Hardtied offers to immerse it's members in the sensuality of their site in their own unique and original way.  These are promising claims for fans of the BDSM fetish and piqued my curiosity to explore the site further.

The Site

The first thing I noticed was that Hard Tied does not offer a feature rich design or browsing experience.  There are no Picture, Video or Model links.  Instead, Hard Tied simply spills a page worth of thumbs containing the latest updates with links to the pictures and videos as well as links to further explore the past updates.  There is no search feature to be found here.  The content listings do provide a great text description of what is offered as well as the information about the pictures and videos such as number of photos and length/format of videos.  The site tends to feel somewhat disorganized but it seems intentional on their part.  Sensual bondage offered on top of a plain black background just seemed to fit Hard Tied.  If you're new to the site it will make for extra work having to browse back through the older content so be prepared for an experience that isn't exactly rich in features.

The Content

The content comes in both video and still images of each video and there are around 220+ videos/galleries to choose from.  The highest quality videos are 1280 x 720 @1500kb/s in High Definition H.264 MPEG-4 (.mp4) format and the quality is remarkably good.  They are also available in 4 or 5 segment clips if you prefer and also lower resolution MP4 clips for portability on your iPod.  The videos are a really nice length as well with most being around 40 minutes.  The still galleries are a really nice addition as well.  While not being high resolution images, there are usually over 120 contained in each gallery and are available in handy ZIP files.  The download speeds were great at Hard Tied as I was able to download at my maximum speed, but download managers are a no go here.

Final Thoughts

I definitely have to give high marks for unique content to Hard Tied.  It would be nice to see updates that were more frequent than once a week and also some features such as a model directory and search options.  Price is also a consideration here, but if it's original BDSM content you're looking for it would be hard to go wrong with Hard Tied.
