Hegre Art – A look at artistic nudity by Petter Hegre

Petter Hegre is certainly leading the way when it comes to providing high quality artistic nudity.  His site is second to none and a reviewer’s wet dream.  Who hasn’t heard of Hegre Art?  Hegre Art is a site of exquisite quality softcore pornography by which all other photography sites similar to this are compared.  Simply put, this site is a good example for what good online pornography is all about.  If you’re looking for a site that celebrates the female form in high definition media please look no further.

The Site

The layout of the site is impressive.  Everything is tidy and clean and I never with no broken links to be found here.  Like all good websites, the most recent content is displayed on the login screen which is updated with a new set every day.  There’s even a sneak peak of the content that’s coming up.  For those interested, Hegre Art uses a mixture of blacks, grays and whites for the color scheme.  Navigation around the site is really simple as the bar at the top of every page consists of updates, galleries, films, snapshots, models, travels, news, photo forum, e-cards, polls, Mr. Right and finally, DVDs.

Most of these are pretty self explanatory but some do need a little mention.  Mr. Right is a nice little feature where you can put in your application to meet up with one of the models for a romantic meal or stroll on the beach.  At first I was a little sceptical but it actually appears to be a genuine attempt to bridge the gap between members and models.  Who says you can’t dream?  The travels section is pretty sweet too.  Throughout the years, Hegre Art models have been shot in just about every exotic locale in the world which you’ll find here.  It’s pretty nice to see them go all over a country and shoot daily.  I really loved browsing the archives of all the years too.

The content deserves one word:  Stunning!  All of the women on Hegre art are out of this world beautiful.  They have amazing curves and naturally beautiful faces.  All of them look comfortable in front of the camera and slip in to the scene really well.  To date, Hegre Art has over 148,000 images and 356 films which is a solid figure and certainly worthy of praise.  The content dates back to 2002 which I found surprising.  I never knew this site had been around for that long.  Another interesting aspect of Hegre Art is the films section.  I was under the impression that only pictures were offered but that is clearly not the case and the videos are just as beautiful, sexy, and artistic as the photos.

There are so many options for viewing photos here. For all of the most recent content, you have the option of 600 x 450, 1200 x 900, 2000 x 1500, 3000 x 2252, 4000 x 3003, and the staggering 6000 x 4500.  The latter quality is the highest I have ever seen and one more aspect of Hegre Art that makes it so great.  Petter is taking photography to another level here.  All images can be viewed as thumbnails or downloaded in a ZIP file.  The videos came in at 1280 x 720@ 4700 kbps (HD) or 640 x 360@ 1300 kbps in the choice of WMV or MOV.  DivX is offered for the former of the two and M4V/PSP for the latter.

Final Thoughts
