Hustler - The notorious Larry Flynt brings Hustler to your desktop!

The name Hustler really needs no introduction the world over and especially to anyone who is reading this review. Most likely your earliest memories of Hustler are that of a smut magazine and the goings on of their notorious leader, Larry Flynt. Over time, what was once a small iconic magazine has grown into a franchise unlike any other in the porn industry, transforming the business forever. As many of us may recall the original Hustler brand was comprised of “slutty” models, which had a look much different, than that of its competitors such as Playboy and Penthouse. The changes made include employing the services of all the hottest mainstream pornstars available on the market today. With names like Jessica Jaymes, Nikki Benz, Carmella Bing, Bobbi Starr and so many more, you would be hard pressed to name one star that they do NOT have available on the Hustler website. Today, Hustler has diversified and evolved into a new digital online empire that is still relatively young and remains partially undeveloped, in terms of its own untapped potential.

The Site

The original Hustler website was created back in 1996 and primarily consisted of picture sets and a small selection of DVD’s. Having undergone a massive reconstruction, the new Hustler website has made some key improvements and additions. With the older version of Hustler, navigation was rough, and the content was unorganized. Today, the layout of the site is very user friendly, as the top tool bar is displayed as follows: Home, Scenes, DVD’s, Photos, Models, Sites, Support. Just above this toolbar are the buttons to enter Hustler’s live cams section. The live cams work just the same as the more popular services, which require users to deposit money into a separate account to be used on a pay per minute basis, for live one on one shows with sexy models on their webcams. Searching the site is a breeze as you can choose from a drop down menu to search by model name or niche/category. You also have the option to search by site, which includes 29 sites that come included in one low monthly price. These 29 sites are as follows: Alternative, Anal Hookers, Asian Fever, Barely Legal, Beaver Hunt, Bossy Milf’s, Busty Beauties, College Girls, Cream Pies, Cum Crazy, Daddy Gets Lucky, DP, Features, Hardcore Vault, Hometown Girls, Hustler Milf’s, Hustlaz, Hustler 18, Hustler HD, Hustler Lesbians, Interracial, Jail Babes, Larry’s Private Collection, Muchas Latinas, Scary Big Dicks, Squirters, Taboo, Too Many Trannies and VCA Classics.

The site updates about 3-5 video scenes per week and 3 photo sets weekly as well. The videos and pictures are spread out quite evenly as you have a healthy balance between the two.

The Content

As I already mentioned, the site is primarily made up of pictures and videos, however there is a well developed cam show feature available as well. When it comes to Hustler, the main event here are the videos and you spend most of your time searching their expansive library which contains an incredible 5700 scenes. The video scenes themselves come in several different formats as well as full-length movies in streaming Flash, WMV and MPEG. The streaming flash player displays in 640 x 360 with a top bitrate of 1700 kbps. The streaming flash player also plays in 640 x 360 at a very crisp 1200 and 768 kbps as well as a smaller 320 x 180 at 304 kbps. The streaming MPEG plays and downloads in 640 x 360 at 1200, 768 and 384 kbps. The streaming WMV player is shown in 720 x 480 at 1700, 1200 and 768 kbps. I was very impressed with the newest HD version that is available as a WMV download showing in an amazing 1280 x 720 at 4015 kbps. The WMV version is also available for download in 720 x 480 at 1200 kbps and 320 x 240 at 336 kbps. It is important to note that while many of the scenes are available for download in various formats, some are only available to be viewed as a streaming file. Moving forward this will not be a problem as this issue only relates to older videos and archived files.

As far as the photos are concerned there are over 1500 sets to choose from, they are available in two primary resolutions. The newest pictures are available in a high res version that can be viewed in 1500 x 1060 and a smaller sized version of 600 x 400. Unfortunately, there is no option to download a zip file of the photos to save to your hard drive, which of course is a let down. Another cool feature to the picture sets is that some come with short stories to put you in the mood which gives a magazine type feel to each set.

Final Thoughts

Overall, this site offers a little bit of everything, from solo teasing to hardcore ass fucking and giant facials. And if you like girl/girl, there is plenty of that too. When I compare Hustler to other top flight sites on the market today, I feel that something is missing here and certain features are left to be desired. Now do not get me wrong, I am a big fan of Larry Flynt Productions, I have been since I was a kid, but I really feel as though he could do better. At the same time, I am confident that the necessary changes will be made and that when those additions and alterations are made, Hustler will become one of the premier sites on the adult marketplace. Despite the minor negatives, Hustler is a great join and as a member I am sure you will be very satisfied and will remain a member for years to come.
