Simon Scans – The Art in Pornography!

I must admit, when I read the title of the site I was imagining some sort of 1 guy army who had 10 videos of him having sex on a photocopying machine. However Simon Scans turns out to be a world-class site dedicated to giving its users high quality images of pornographic scenes.  The idea behind Simon Scans is to have professional photographers show every minute of the action and offer the user real high quality images.  This site has been up for several years now and has some pretty impressive content.

The Site

I was really impressed with the website as a whole as the design was top notch and whoever is doing the HTML work over at Simon Scans knows his stuff so a big thumbs up to the site developers there. SimonScans.com uses a blend of reds, purples and blacks for a color scheme that looks radiant.  The homepage instantly showcases the most recent updates and at the right hand side of the page you’ll find the highest rated models.  You’ll find the simple to use navigation bar at the top of the page that consists of home, free stuff, members, support and join.  There wasn’t a picture archive per se but there is a link featuring content by year/month dating back to October of 2000.

I must admit, the Simon Scans setup comes across looking a bit like a blog but is executed very well.  The site design is somewhat basic but at the end of the day, its primary focus revolves around content.  I hate to cut this section a little short but there’s really not much else to say about the site.  It’s clean, neat, small and tidy with a huge emphasis on the content it provides.

The Content

Simon Scans currently boasts 664 models, 4,176 sets and a total of 465,925 images.  Simon Scans is softcore site for the most part, but you can bet your bottom dollar that a lot of the sets are full of dildo fun with some girl-girl action thrown in featuring stunningly beautiful models.  I really can’t put into words how gorgeous all of these babes are.  It’s great to see pornography have a fresh face with such high quality content.

Resolution options for downloading content will vary here based on the time in which the material was added.  I found all of the options for downloading content from the last 18 months to be in a respectful 1853 x 1236 resolution, while some of the older 2007-2004 stuff being 1442 x 961, and further back pre 2003 is pretty much all 810 x 540.  All sets are available in a downloadable ZIP file or browsable through thumbnails.  Besides WMV,  you  also have the choices of MOV or MPG formats.  Videos are 640 x 360@ 1000 kbps.

Final Thoughts

The lack of variable resolutions on all the images (especially older content) is my only complaint.  Having said that, the overall content and the quality of everything you see at Simon Scans is superb.  Simon Scans takes the art of female eroticism to a whole new level.
