I love a site that has a clear, crisp design and after entering my username and password on Sock Blocked’s login page, I got a very pretty surprise. The color scheme is surprisingly simple and in my opinion, representative of the niche with its three basic choices – black, white and pink. Just four links are placed at the top of every page and deliver that authentic minimalist feel new websites do, taking you to and from; home, models, photos and videos.

A site really can make or break a member depending on how appropriate their homepage is. In the case of SockBlocked, you have a centerpiece displaying the latest content via a representative image in the middle of the screen with a few older pieces of content being rotated in at defined intervals. Scrolling down the page reveals a sample of the models on the site and with each thumbnail being clickable, you can quickly make your way over to the personal profile of your favorite star. I love Sock Blocked’s simplistic feel and would recommend would-be webmasters to check out how it should be done – props to the designer behind SockBlocked.com, it’s fantastic.

So after giving the site the thumbs up, can we seal the review off with a positive look at the content? It’s really not that simple, to be honest. See, SockBlocked.com currently has 29 videos (averaging 10 minutes) and 42 galleries (containing around 100 images per set). I obviously put the small archive down to the fact that it’s a relatively new porn site. Numbers mean a lot to someone that enjoys pornography, although something must be said of the quality to truly get a feel of how important this factor is.

In my experience, people only want 100s of videos from a site because they want to find a decent scene that fits their niche and remove all the rest.
